The Quest For Zest - Main image.

Could Fort Wayne finally have a real taqueria?

Or at least, how to cut with them.

There are very few of us* who would pick up a brand new, extra sharp knife and try to throw it at a target with no training, no instruction or without at least going online to see a recommended technique. But many of us will pick up a brand new, super sharp, shiny kitchen knife and go to town on a carrot with absolutely no instruction.

“I’m sorry, how much?” The voice on the other end of the phone confirmed what I feared. “Fifty two. Five. Two.” Any doubts I had about Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee being a highly coveted coffee had officially been put to rest. At $52 per pound I’d be lying if I said I didn’t hesitate a moment, but I’d come this far, so there was no point in turning back now.
